THE DANGER OF REJECTING GRACE

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
As you study the word of God, one of the things most people have ignored over the years is the thing that was said that was not actually said. I learned this valid secret from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome one time while listening to one of his tapes. Let me explain. From our opening scripture, if you take a critical look at this scripture, you will see what has been said that was not actually said.
When you receive abundant grace and the gift of righteousness you reign in this life by one Jesus Christ (this is what was actually said). The opposite is true: those who reject grace and the gift of righteousness will be subdued in life with the world where satan is the god of the system – they will be subject to sickness and failures (this is what was said that was not actually said). This is dangerous!
Folks go to hell not because of the individual sins they have committed but simply because they refused to accept the free gift of salvation through grace. As a believer too you can also reject grace; and there are so many of God’s folks who are rejecting grace today. When you hear believers saying things like, you have to be careful about this grace thing; grace is a license to sin; then you know that these folks are not receiving grace.
Don’t receive little grace (that Jesus only forgave your past sins but for the present and future ones you must confess before He will forgive you). Don’t also fall into the trap of self-righteousness where you become self-focused and self-centered. Receive abundant grace and reign in life with Jesus Christ.
