DESIRE IS THE KEY TO THE SUPERNATURAL

1 Corinthians 14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

Desire is the key to open the door of the supernatural. There is no way you are going to walk in the supernatural and the miraculous without a strong desire and passion for the supernatural. You have to have a strong desire for the supernatural before you can see them.

What is your hunger? What is your desire? God doesn’t give His hidden treasures to everyone. Don’t be surprised. Even though Jesus has died and willed everything to us, you cannot access this supernatural manifestations without a strong desire. Jesus said, “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” Matthew 7:6

The fact that God counsels us to desire spiritual gifts means that desire is vital in the school of the miraculous. If God just gives these spiritual gifts, why would He asked us to desire them? The fact that He tells us to desire them implies that, desire is a necessary factor in the walk of the supernatural.

Anyone of us can walk in the supernatural. You can cast out devils, open blind eyes, unstop deaf ears, cause the lame to walk and raise the dead. It is not reserved for some special and selected few. It is for everyone who desires it. Desire is the key. I pray that God will create in you a strong desire for the supernatural.

You can operate in all the nine gifts of the Spirit. You heard me right. The spiritual gifts are not for some folks God chooses to give to. It is for everyone who desires it. One of the biggest deception in the body of Christ about spiritual gifts is that, God gives the gifts to whoever He wants and they operate under the full control of the Holy Ghost. This is a lie from the pit of hell that has kept people from operating in the gifts of the Spirit.

The gifts of the Spirit are activated by us and not God. And desire is the key to activate them. I can decide to walk in to a meeting and prophesy to everyone who is present. I don’t have to wait on the Spirit for anything. All I do is just activate the gift and it starts working. I know some folks are surprised. But I have done it once and again. And you can do the same. Your desire is the key to open you up to the world of the supernatural.
