MEN OUGHT TO PRAY

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; KJV

As long as you are a man you are supposed to pray. The things that we are dealing with are beyond human comprehension; you cannot use your human wisdom and ability to tackle life’s issues. You will need to engage the strength of God through prayer; you have to outsource strength from a higher realm to help you here on earth.

Find a time that fits your daily schedule and pray; and make it consistent. Praying once a while won’t produce power; it is a consistent prayer life that births power for victories. May the Spirit of prayer come upon you mightily in the name of Jesus Christ. If you will pray consistently, many problems will be solved in your life.

Apostle Paul took the time to show us why we must pray:

Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.(1 Thessalonians 2:18)

Paul lets us know that there is a hinderer out there who seeks to hinder us in everything we do. Paul had wanted to visit the saints in Thessalonica; but once and again he was hindered – and Paul knew it was satan who hindered them. This is why you must pray. Things don’t just come to you; people don’t just come to you; the customers don’t just come to you; they are made to come to you through the agency of priesthood. You make them come to you – you don’t wish them to come to you.

People don’t just favour you – you make them favour you. Sometimes you will hear a brother give a testimony in church after a strong prayer session. That testimony is as a result of that prayer session. That testimony would not have come if not for the fervent prayer. If you don’t pray fervently about the issues concerning your life, you will be surprised at how things will delay and be hindered in your life.

Many of the delays people have endured all in the name of _“I am waiting upon the Lord”_ are as a result of prayerlessness. Things may continue to be held hostage in the realm of the spirit until you pray. Situations don’t change by themselves; they are made to change. Any moment you have to pray, pray well – pray as if your life depends on it because it does. It is very sad to see how people treat prayer meetings, just hanging around till the meeting is over.

Prayer is what changes the Dynamics of the realm of the spirit; it is what controls the activities in the spirit realm. This is why you must pray. You will be very surprised to know how many people want to do business with you; you will be surprised to know how many people want to favour you and yet they have not been able to get to you. Your priesthood is what brings them. You must pray!
