1 Thessalonians 5:19 Do not quench (suppress or subdue) the [Holy] Spirit; AMPC
You can be sidelined by the Holy Ghost. Don’t get surprised by this statement. Even though the Holy Ghost won’t leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5) irrespective of what you do, He can actually sideline you and move on to someone else who is more willing.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
One time I stood in our church and said to our members, “I am not your friend; I am your pastor.” Some couldn’t get what I said but that is the truth. Your pastor is not your friend. God gave you a pastor and not a friend. God gave you a shepherd to watch over your soul. Your pastor is not your friend. You are to embrace this truth with all humility.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
God’s word is His wisdom. The more you fill your mind with the word of God, the more you fill your mind with God’s wisdom, and hence the wiser you become. Those who spend time in the word end up becoming wise. Those who don’t, end up becoming fools and making stupid and unwise choices, whose end is disaster.

Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you–unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected? AMPC
I love doing an appraisal of my life from time to time. It helps me to know where I am, how far I have come, and what I need to do to get to where I am going in life. In the corporate world, appraisals are done from time to time to know the performance of staff, which in turn helps management to know who to promote, query or sack.

Our opening scripture is one of the most powerful scriptures on the subject of faith. It shows you the operation and workings of faith. Kenneth Hagin preached this scripture over and over again till some people thought that he wrote it.
