DRIVE THE WORD DEEP INTO YOUR HEART

1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
The word has power; the power of God’s word is not something we can fully explained; it is beyond measure. You will do well to get the word into you; the word is all you need to develop and grow in the kingdom of God.
But the word on its own cannot produce any result in your life. The word has to be planted in your heart before it can produce the harvest. Your heart is the ground for the sowing of God’s word.
It is not enough to have the word or receive the word. The word has to be driven deep into your heart in order for it to be able to produce the desired result. The word in your head is not enough. You have to take that word in your head and drive it deep into your heart.
The key to drive the word deep into your heart is meditation. Meditation means to ponder, muse pensively, mutter and speak under your breath. These are things you need to do with the revelation of God’s word that has come alive in you.
Many are receiving the word; but not many are meditating. In order for the sheep to be able to produce milk, it has to chew the grass it has eaten very well. The eating of the grass is not what produces the nutrients and the milk; it is the chewing.
In the same manner, hearing the word alone is not enough; take the portion that speaks to you and meditate, chew it and ponder over it. This could take weeks, months or even years. As you drive the word deep into your heart, the word itself will begin to produce results in your life. God's word has power to deliver to you anything that you desire; drive it deep into your heart through active meditation. Hallelujah!
